Polo Instructor:
Jolie Liston, the owner and primary instructor at PoloBear Polo Club, has been around horses as long as she can remember. Like many horse professionals, Jolie started riding at an early age and was first introduced to polo by her father, Paul, at the age of 12.

Upon graduating high school, Jolie attended Emory University, in Atlanta, Georgia, where she received a BA in Psychology, class of 1990. In 1991 and 1992, Jolie continued her education at the University of Georgia where she studied Animal Science for two years and played polo at the intercollegiate level. Shortly thereafter, Jolie was fortunate enough to spend six winter seasons in Florida where she played with and competed against some of the top players in the sport. All that hard work paid off, when Jolie received the IWPA Woman Player of the Year award in 2000.

Polo has taken Jolie across the U.S. and all over the world. She has played in Africa, Argentina, England, Holland, Jamaica, Barbados and the Dominican Republic. After all of that traveling, Jolie has found her way back home to Georgia, where she is devoting herself, full time, to building the best polo training facility in the area.
