At the Atlanta Regional Polo Center, we provide positive instruction that will help young players learn the benefits of discipline and team work. Polo can also help build basic motor skills and gives young players an opportunity to understand the healthy aspects of competition in a friendly environment. We are interested in promoting polo as a positive influence to children of all ages.
Our Junior Polo Program incorporates all facets of the game from horse management to game strategy. Young players will learn:
- How to prepare a horse for polo
- How to ride a horse for polo
- The four basic strokes of polo
- The rules of polo
- Team positions and strategies
We can provide horses for this program and previous riding experience is not required. We are conveniently located on the southside of Atlanta, just north of Peachtree City and Newnan. Please contact us for more information.
