Buying your first polo pony is a very stressful thing to do! Thank goodness I had heard about Jolie Liston! I tried ponies in Aiken, tried a couple around here but finally found the perfect horse from Jolie. She watched me ride, got a good feel for my style and we talked about what I wanted. Of course I told her I wanted the most beautiful horse that played polo so well it would make me look like I knew what I was doing! Little did I know she would take me seriously and she delivered exactly that! My gorgeous 9 year old mare"Tobi" or as I call her "Tobi-licious" is the most beautiful horse I have ever seen and she has a love for the game of polo. If I had designed her myself, she would not have been more perfect for me. I bought her March 2007 and have been so happy with her ever since. When I am ready to buy my next polo pony, I wouldn't hesitate to call Jolie again. As a matter of fact, I will only call Jolie!

"I purchased my first horse from Jolie. Being both a novice rider and a new polo player, it was critical for me to find the right horse that would both make me feel confident at my level of riding, and allow me to “get in the game” while playing polo. Most of the horses I tried were a significant improvement from what I had been riding previously, and I convinced myself on more than one occasion that I had found the horse I wanted. Fortunately for me, Jolie was much more interested in selling me the “right” horse as opposed to just selling me any horse and making a sale. She talked me out of more than one horse that I thought I wanted, and when she found one that fit the way I rode and played, she was right: the fit was great. Nikki has proven to be a great first horse: bomb-proof, has yet to do a stupid thing, but still plays hard with a big heart. She was forgiving enough tolerate my “new rider” miscues, but she has shown enough up-side that I have been able to play her competitively in 8-goal tournaments. She has good speed and will ride you and your mother off into the corner of the field, but will also allow a 3 year old child to ride her around an arena as long as they would like. Overall, I could not be happier with the horse Jolie found for me; I am even more satisfied with the purchase every time I ride the horse.
